Hello Members

I want to start out by thanking Shirley, and Lois and Les Arnold for putting together a very successful lodge picnic this year. Thank you to ALL the members who helped set up, and tear down the equipment, Jim Jackson for providing the dumpster and Craig Bear for providing the music for the day. The Cornhole Tournament organizers did an awesome job and all players seemed to really enjoy the events. Congrats to all the winners.

I also want to let everyone know that our lodge was nominated for three Buckeye Awards this year at the Ohio State Moose Convention in Independence, Ohio. Congratulations to Darrah Courter for Sportswoman of the Year, Anita Pasco who was one of the top three for the Lodge Publication Award, and of course our lodge was nominated for the Moose Charities Contributions.

OSU Football is back and there will be a Potluck for all the games. The lodge will only be providing the meat and cutlery so please remember to bring your signature side dish and your OH - IO’s for the Buckeyes.

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, is our Open House to the public. We will be sponsoring a Safe Surfing Program along with Tommy Moose to provide fingerprints and information on a disc to give to each parent or guardian in case their children go missing. This disc will be given to law enforcement in case such a thing should happen. If you would like to know more about this program; go to the Moose International Website for more information.
As usual, I encourage every member to sign up family and friends to our wonderful lodge. We believe the more the merrier!
Fraternally,

Tony Marre, Administrator
